For the past several months we've been working with a garbage removal startup to develop an app called Dumpsta. The app connects people who need rubbish removed (dumpers) with businesses that remove rubbish (collectors). It's the new way to get rid of rubbish! Just snap, and it's gone!
You can find out more about Dumpsta and download the app from the website (which we also developed) - dumpsta.com.au
For the past several months we have been working closely with YMCA NSW to redesign and develop a brand new website. They're previous website (built with Joomla) was becoming difficult to maintain and they were having trouble implementing new features.
So we developed an entirely new, flexible and scalable website using Python + Django, with a custom administration site for YMCA staff to manage & update the website themselves.
Not only does the website support YMCA NSW's corporate activities, but it also includes individual microsites for their 90+ recreatation & childcare centres across the state - with each one able to be individually managed by the centre staff.
This was a fantastic project to work on, and a great client to work with, and we are looking forward to continuing working together in the future. Check out the new YMCA NSW website at www.ymcansw.org.au
Creatio co-founder Mitchell Page was recently interviewed by Dropbox about starting a small business in Australia, as well as the risks (and rewards) involved. We've been using Dropbox at Creatio for the past 8 years, and it's fair to say that along with Google Apps & AWS, we could not run our business without it!
Before the interview we got to hang out with Dropbox in their brand new Sydney office, and take a sneak peak at some of the cool features they'll be introducing in the near future. So if you aren't using Dropbox Business in your own business yet, you really should be.

We first tried out Slack in late 2014. It was a beautifully piece of chat software, but we were so used to Skype for chat that we didn't really give Slack a chance. Fastforward to 2016 and we're now fully onboard with Slack. The software had definitely improved in that time, but we'd also become a lot busier. With more projects and work stuff to discuss, we needed something that would allow us to chat 1-on-1, or collaboratively in the context of a project or topic.
The Australian Security Industry Association Limited (ASIAL) recently engaged Creatio to develop the "Home Security Challenge", the online component for their 2015 consumer awarness campaign.

Today, the 25th November, is International White Ribbon Day. A day when men and women across Australia are called to wear a white ribbon or wristband as a visual symbol of their commitment and oath to never to commit, excuse or remain silent about violence against women.
This year we made the white ribbon symbol a lot more social. Instead of having to purchase a physical ribbon or wristband to show your support, we provided every person that made a donation with a 'virtual' white ribbon that they could 'wear' on their social media profiles.
You can show your support by visiting the White Ribbon Day campaign page and taking the oath: www.whiteribbon.org.au/day
GenerationOne had been maintaining a separate desktop & mobile website since 2012. This was making it difficult to keep their content up-to-date and was becoming confusing for their users.
To resolve these issues, GenerationOne engaged Echo Communications & Creatio to redevelop their website frontend and make it responsive. The result, which launched today, is a user-friendly interface that automatically resizes to fit the device its being viewed on, whether its a desktop computer, tablet or smartphone.
Check out the new GenerationOne website here: www.generationone.org.au
Creatio were recently engaged to develop a series of iPhone apps for Australian Geographic (owned by Bauer Media Group). The apps are all about discovering Australia, combining information from several sources to give the user access to campgrounds, holiday parks, landmarks and other points of interest.
The first app to be released is "Discover New South Wales", and over the coming months we will be releasing additional apps for Australian Geographic, covering all the states of Australia.

Today we are proud to announce the launch of TheRecruitmentWell, a client project we have been working on for several months with Echo Communications.
TheRecruitmentWell is an "open market B2B recruitment platform" designed by recruiters, for recruiters. It allows companies to post their available positions, then negotiate with and eventually engage a recruiter.
Currently only available in Victoria, the plan is to roll out TheRecruitmentWell Australia-wide over the next several months.
In the meantime you can visit the website at: www.therecruitmentwell.com.au

We recently launched a major upgrade to the Farmz.com.au social network. Previously only farmers could join the social network (i.e. you needed to own or be working on a farm).
However with this update comes the ability for individual profiles to join the site - that is, anyone living & working within the agriculture industry.
This update tops off a series of updates to Farmz.com.au that have been launched over the past several months, including: a community photos section showcasing the most popular photos shared by Aussie farmers; a rainfall calendar to keep track of your daily/monthly/annual rainfall; and the ability to post multiple photos in the newsfeed.
So if you're a farmer, or if you live & work in the agricultural industry, or you know someone who might be interested, now is the time to join Farmz. Visit www.farmz.com.au
Today we launched an exciting new feature for the Schoolparents social network: a Marketplace.
The Schoolparents Marketplace allows members to buy, sell or giveaway items. And being a social network you are able to see and share items that your friends are selling. You can also find items related to your child's school (e.g. uniforms).
During the launch period the Schoolparents Marketplace is currently free for members to use - so you can post your items for sale without paying any fees! However if you'd like your ads to appear at the top (i.e. featured) you can pay a small upgrade fee.
You can checkout the Schoolparents Marketplace right here: www.schoolparents.com.au/marketplace (you don't need to be a member to view the marketplace, but you do need to be a member if you'd like to purchase or enquire about or purchase any items)
